a new hobby

i decided i needed something to do while shut up in my apartment at night in savannah. so i'm going to start making beaded jewelry. i don't really know how to do this, but i found somewhere here who also makes jewelry and we'll get together to do this sometime soon. anyway, my first venture was pretty successful. i made a pair of hoop earrings and got compliments on them the first time i wore them! i also made a necklace. i don't really like it though. i guess, i think it needs more beads. i just did some beads and thought i would like the look of it, and i don't when it's on. so i'll just add more. i made it with elastic, so it's not really much of a loss. i'll just cut the elastic and redo it, and it's very little elastic to lose. no big deal. i'll post a picture when it's been redone--you know, before and after style :)
